FEMA Workers provide New In-Person Mobile Registration Intake Centers (MRIC)

Allen Parish Civic Center, 609 Tiger Lane, Oberlin, LA, is hosting a FEMA Mobile Registratin Intake Center (MRIC).
The MRIC will OPEN Wednesday, September 16th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and continue every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 7 days a week.
FEMA will provide the initial Registration Serives with limited technical support for current applications. NO Document Drop-off Services are available at this time. Document Service will be available at this location at a later date TBD.
All MRIC services are conducted outside to ensure CDC COVID-19 safety protocols and social distancing.

MRICs are another option to expand the reach of FEMA personal assistance when the Drive-through Recovery option is unavailable. MRICs are set up at local sites to provide a drive-up/walk-up option while still maintaining social distancing. Additional MRIC locations in Allen Parish will be opening soon.
These centers operate under strict COVID-19 protocols to ensure visitors are safe. Masks or face coverings are required for entry and service. Survivors remain in their cars, a specialist wearing a face mask will receive documents through the window and return them.
No appointments are necessary.
Allen Parish will have a Drive-through Recovery Center (document drop-off) location soon.
