Thank you for making my first term as Mayor of the Town of Kinder great.  I have enjoyed hearing from everyone and doing what I can to address all of your concerns.  I will continue to listen and I look forward to working with all of you in my second term.

Annual CPI Adjustment

February 15, 2019

Town of Kinder announces that in accordance with Kinder Code of Ordinances No. 825, there will be a cost of living adjustment based on calculations of the U.S. Department of Labor, equal to a 1.9% increase to the Water, Wastewater, and Natural Gas rates.  These rates will become effective on the 1st of the month following publication of this notice.(Ord. Mark your calendars, folks: March 18-24 is the EPA's eleventh annual Fix a Leak WeekHousehold leaks can waste more than 1 TRILLION gallons of water each year. Yes, 1 TRILLION—That's a one with 12 zeros behind it (1,000,000,000,000). Those drippy faucets and leaking toilets are more than an annoyance; they cost you lots of money, and they waste LOTS of water. So, this March, hunt down those drips! Chase those leaks!
